Norton Disney Parish Council is made up of 5 elected members - comprising a Chairperson and Vice-Chair, who are elected by the councillors themselves and 3 other members. They and subject to work for the benefit of the community and are all residents of the Parish. The Parish Council is fully accountable and subject to national audit rules and regulations. Elections are held every 4 years.
The Clerk to the Parish Council works partime in the role.
Norton DIsney Parish Council meetings are held on the third Monday in January, March, May, July, September and November each year, with the Annual Parish meeting being held in May. The meetings are held in the Village Hall commencing at 7:30pm. Residents are encouraged to attend council meetings and air their views on local issues affecting parish life.
