Time Team Discoveries In Norton Disney
In October 2024 Time Team came to Norton Disney to investigate the history of the village and it’s links with the Disney family. Test pits were dug in residents gardens and larger trenches in the grounds of the Manor House. There was also research carried out into the Disney family and its history locally in Lincolnshire
Time Team will be releasing on YouTube episodes filmed in Norton Disney from Friday 5th to Sunday 7th September. To coincide with this event, local residents will have a chance to listen to a presentation by Carenza Lewis who led the investigations and a chance to see episodes. A unique opportunity to learn about the history of the village and how the Disney family were part of that.
