Minutes of the previous meeting

Minutes of the Parish meeting held on 20th November 2023 were signed as a true and correct record.

Matters arising

A letter from Caroline Johnson MP regarding the Fosse Green Energy proposals was read out to the meeting by Cllr Husemeyer, the Parish’s Action Group representative, who went on to say that much background work was being done prior to the next consultation stage and that the Action Group was open to alternative realistic views.

The Clerk informed the meeting that delivery of the new village signs had been postponed until early February, that there had been communication with NKDC regarding an additional dog waste bin for the use of dog walkers using the footpath close to the Green Man and that he had raised the subject of local social media with Debbie Parker, Clerk to Carlton le Moorland Parish.

County & District Councillors’ Reports

County Cllr Marianne Overton’s and District Cllr Mary Green’s monthly reports had been circulated prior the meeting.

Because neither of the above Councillors were able to attend the meeting due to prior commitments, the item on the agenda ‘Greater Lincolnshire Devolution’ was not discussed. It was deferred until such time as our County Cllr is able to be present.
